Does it work with iPhone and Android?
Yes. The watch works with Android 7.0 or later and iOS 15.0 or later. You pair it with Amazfit's Zepp app, where you see workouts, sleep and other data. Some features, such as quick replies to messages, only work with Android.
What is in the box, and how do I charge it?
According to Amazfit the box contains the watch with strap and an extra Lava strap, a magnetic charger with a USB-C port and a user guide. A cable and a power adapter are not included: you plug a USB-C cable you already have into the charger, or pick our braided USB-C cable.
Can I pay with the watch?
The watch has NFC for Zepp Pay, Amazfit's contactless payment service. It only works with the banks and cards Zepp Pay supports – check your bank in the Zepp app before relying on the feature.
Can I swim with it?
Yes, the watch is water resistant to 10 ATM and has pool and open-water swimming modes. Avoid sauna and hot showers.
How big is the watch?
The case is 47.4 mm and 12.3 mm thick and weighs 43 g without strap. The strap is 22 mm and fits wrists of 140–210 mm.
Can the watch replace a doctor or detect illness?
No. The watch is not a medical device and does not replace medical advice. Heart rate, blood oxygen, sleep, stress and other readings are estimates for following your own training and everyday life. Contact a healthcare provider if you have symptoms or questions about your health.

Amazfit Balance 2 is the elegant all-round watch: smart enough for the office, tough enough for running, cycling and swimming. The round 1.5-inch AMOLED display is protected by sapphire glass and reaches up to 2,000 nits, and the frame is aluminium alloy.
According to Amazfit the 658 mAh battery lasts up to 21 days of typical use, 10 days of heavy use and up to 33 hours with accurate GPS. Dual-band GPS with six satellite systems and offline maps make it a good watch on unfamiliar routes too.
The watch has a microphone and two speakers, NFC for Zepp Pay and Wi-Fi. It is water resistant to 10 ATM. The box contains two straps: a black one and an extra in the colour Lava.
Balance 2 works with Android and iPhone through the Zepp app.
